Explore Georgia - the tourism division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development - inspires travel to and within the state using marketing programs developed and executed in partnership with the state’s travel industry.   Through its home office in Atlanta, nine visitor information centers, and a network of representatives across the globe, Explore Georgia promotes the state’s mountains, coast, large cities, and small towns to consumers domestically and internationally. Explore Georgia also works with communities to promote the state as a premier host for meetings and conventions.
