Logistics Workforce
We facilitate a continual dialogue between the industry and the state’s educators to foster collaboration on the knowledge and skills required by a workforce in a rapidly changing logistics industry. Georgia offers programs through the Department of Economic Development's Workforce Division and Georgia Department of Labor and is fortunate to have a network of logistics programs in 30 institutions within the university system, 23 technical colleges, and 37 college and career academies. Finding and connecting companies to this pool of knowledge is one of the Center of Innovation logistics team’s specialties. Recently, the Center and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MAC) collaborated on the report Georgia Leading the Way: The Logistics Workforce for the Future.
